List of alerts

The Alerts page contains a list of open alerts (default filter). Let’s take a look at the important options and features on this page, as numbered in the figure above.

In addition to the status column, there is also a color-coded alert (number 1 in the figure above):

  • Red - Open;

  • Yellow - Closed - manually confirmed;

  • Green - Closed - restored automatically.

The menu (number 2 in the figure above) contains the following two options:

  • The option («Open») takes you to the notification description page;

  • The «Confirm» option opens a window with the possibility to write a solution to the alert and thus close the alerts manually. It is discussed in detail in the description of the notification description page. This option is only available to the owner user and administrator user, the alert must also be open.

The list can be filtered (number 3 in the picture above) using the four options shown below:

  1. according to the workspace available to the user;

  2. according to the severity of the alert; you can choose one of four options:

    • WARNING (WARNING);

    • PROBLEM (PROBLEM);

    • UNDEFINED (UNDEFINED);

    • OK;

  3. By status, you can choose one of three options:

    • Open (Open);

    • Closed - Manually Acknowledged (Closed - manually confirmed);

    • Closed - Auto Recovered (Closed - automatically restored);

  4. By time frame, you can choose one of four options:

    • Last 7 days (Last 7 days);

    • Last 30 days (Last 30 days);

    • Last 6 months (Last 6 months);

    • Last 12 months (Last 12 months).

The alert description page has two tabs. Let’s take a look at them.

Alert Overview

The button («Confirm») (number 1 in the figure above) opens a window for describing the used solution to the problem about which the alert was created, or the reason for closing to close the alert manually.

This option is only available for the owner user and the administrator user. The alert should be open by now.

To add an alert solution or a reason for closing, follow these steps:

  • first write the solution to this alert (number 1 in the figure above);

  • then press the “Acknowledge” button to confirm the decision or the reason for closing and close the alert (number 2 in the figure above).

In the “Acknowledge Information” section, a description of the reason for closing the alert manually will appear.

The “EVENTS LOG” section displays the events associated with this alert; for example when the alert opens and closes.
