Email

The «Mail» page will have a list of email channels for sending messages, as well as functionality for creating and managing channels. Let’s look at the functionality according to the numbering in the figure below:

  1. The «Add new channel» button (number 1 in the figure above) opens a window for adding a new channel;

  2. The “Menu” button (number 1 in the figure above) allows you to control the selected channel. There are three options available on this menu:

    • The “Open” option opens the selected channel page;

    • The “Suspend” option suspends the use of the selected channel for messaging;

    • The “Delete” option deletes the selected channel.

Adding a new channel

To add a new channel, follow the instructions below:

  1. Enter your email address in this field. (number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Click on the «Add new channel» button. (number 2 in the figure above).

Channel deactivation

The «Deactivate» option suspends the use of the selected channel for messaging:

  1. Fill in the field with the word (suspend). (indicated by number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Click on the «Deactivate» button to disable the transmission of messages through the channel. (indicated by number 2 in the figure above).

Channel activation

The “Activate” option resumes using the selected channel for messaging:

  1. Enter «activate» in the field. (indicated by number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Click on the “Activate” button to resume messaging through the channel. (indicated by number 2 in the figure above).

Deleting a channel

The “Delete” option deletes the selected channel:

  1. Enter «delete» in the field. (number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Click the “Delete channel” button to delete the channel. (number 2 in the figure above).

Email channel management

The personal email channel page provides some functionality for channel management. Let’s look at these options in accordance with the numbering shown in the figure below:

The field labeled 1 in the picture above allows you to change your email address. The menu labeled 2 in the figure above gives you the following options:

Send a test email

The «Send Test Mail» option sends a test message to the email channel. A message box appears with the status of the shipment:

Adding a rule

The “Add Rule” option adds a new rule/criteria for sending messages:

  1. Select a workspace (indicated by number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Select the alarm warning severity level - PROBLEM or WARNING (indicated by number 2 in the figure above);

  3. Click on the “Add Rule” button (marked as 3 in the picture above). After adding a rule, you will receive the appropriate notifications in the selected email channel.

Deleting a rule

The “Remove rule” button allows you to remove the rule / criteria for sending messages through the channel (indicated by number 1 in the figure below):

  1. Fill in the field with the word remove (remove) (indicated by the number 1 in the figure above);

  2. Click on the “Remove rule” button to remove the rule (marked as 2 in the figure above).

Channel deactivation / activation

The “Suspend” / “Activate” options duplicate the menu functionality of the channel list page.
