16.2. Installer Options #
The installer script comes with several options to tailor the installation process to your needs. You can view all available options using command:
./db_installer.sh --help
--help— displays the help message with a list of all available options.--edition=— specifies the database edition. Available options arebe,se,se-1c, andse-certified. The default —se.--package=— set specific package. Available options areall,client,libpq5. The default —all.--major-version=— determines the major version of the database, such as16.--maintenance-version=— set the maintenance version, like16.10.2. If not specified, the installer will fetch and install the latest version.--do-initdb— instructs the installer to run theinitdbcommand with checksums after the installation completes.--from-file=— install package from local file (rpm,deb). May be used with--do-initdboption.
Here's an example usage that showcases how to execute the installer with parameters initialize and start the database from local file tantor-se-1c-server-16_16.10.2_amd64.deb:
./db_installer.sh \ --do-initdb \ --from-file=./tantor-se-1c-server-16_16.10.2_amd64.deb
